HD Livin’ is a charity setup to help Huntington’s Disease (HD) sufferers and their families.
Huntington’s Disease is a mixture of neurological disorders including Parkinson’s, Dementia and Motor Neurone Disease. Sufferers live between 16 & 20 years from onset.
We aim to provide purpose built home from home HD Livin’ Respite Centres with specialist care. Our centres will include Hubs with facilities for families to meet up and support each other and professionals to give talks and information to those impacted.
Although we are doing this primarily for HD sufferers we will also provide Respite Care for people suffering with all neurological disorders.

What is Huntington’s Disease?
A curse that makes family and friends watch a loved one slowly change into someone they’re not, an angry drunk, a happy drunk, a confused drunk and a sleepy drunk without a drop of alcohol. Then when the disease decides it’s time, it takes their ability to walk, to talk and to eat before it takes them once and for all.
