Hi, I’m Jaki.

Life can sometimes feel difficult to navigate. You may be experiencing sadness, loneliness, loss, frustration, anxiety, or uncertainty, and find yourself wondering where to turn. Having someone to talk to and a safe space to explore what you are experiencing can make a real difference.

As a qualified and registered Psychological Therapist, I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about whatever is important to you. This may be related to living with Huntington’s disease (HD), motor neurone disease (MND), Parkinson’s, or dementia, or it may be about other areas of your life that you would like support with.

Therapy can be a space to explore grief, changes in your life, relationships, anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, or simply the feelings that can arise when life doesn't go as expected. I also recognise that the impact of a long-term health condition can extend to partners, family members, and carers, who may need time and space to focus on their own wellbeing.

My own experiences have helped me appreciate how valuable it can be to have the opportunity to talk, reflect, and see things from a different perspective. This, alongside my professional experience, has shaped my approach to supporting others with compassion and understanding.

I have experience working with young people who have faced trauma, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, disabilities, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts. I believe therapy is not about fixing you or telling you what to do. Instead, it is about working alongside you, helping you understand yourself and your experiences, and supporting you to find a way forward that feels right for you.

I am here to listen, support, and walk alongside you on your journey.

I am a qualified and registered Psychological Therapist, and I currently have no waiting list. I look forward to supporting you.
